Welcome

Rev’d Dr Matthew AnsteyI'm very passionate about what is happening at St Barnabas' and would love more people to discover the joys of studying the Christian faith with us.

St Barnabas’ Theological College was founded in 1880. From 2011, it provides Adelaide’s newest option for tertiary academic study of the Christian faith, through its offering of the theological awards of Charles Sturt University.

As university study, it is critical and scholarly and because it is Anglican, it is prayerful and pastoral. These combinations of the old and the new, the critical and the prayerful, the scholarly and the pastoral, make St Barnabas’ a very stimulating and exciting place.

If you desire to study the Christian faith deeply in an open and worshipping community, committed to educational excellence, and situated in a university context, then St Barnabas’ is for you.
